However, the locale is planning on closing its doors for good after Saturday, March 30, according to a new and heartfelt post on the restaurant’s Facebook page.
With a promise to provide “great food, generous drinks and a lively pub atmosphere you’ll feel right at home in,” Little Pub in Ridgefield certainly seems to have followed through, judging from its 4.4/5 star Facebook rating and customer feedback.
“To say we’ve enjoyed being part of the Ridgefield community is the understatement of the century,” reads the post. “We love the people of Ridgefield and the surrounding towns, and based on the recent outpouring of support, it appears the feeling was mutual.”
Of course, those who are familiar with Little Pub’s atmosphere and style should know that the location isn’t the type to close its doors quietly.
"Given the choice between going out with a whimper or a bang, we’ll choose bang every time, so the celebration of Little Pub Ridgefield starts today,” says the emotional post. "Please come see us and let’s make some magic one more time.”
Fortunately, those who need their Little Pub fix can still get it at the brand’s Fairfield, Greenwich, Wilton and Old Saybrook locations.
"From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything,” the post concludes. “You’ve meant the world to us and it’s been an honor to be part of your lives. We hope we made you as happy as you made us.”
